Why are we told to get wisdom?

Answer
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Proverbs 4:7
NOTE - Wisdom implies the ability to judge soundly and deal sagaciously. It is knowledge, with the capacity to make due use of it.
One may have abundance of knowledge, and at the same time possess little wisdom.
